YouthALIVE!
For the past two summers, we have had the good fortune of having this program supported by grant money from the Kitchings Foundation. The money is used to pay each intern an hourly stipend. In order to participate in the internship, the Interns spend several days in training at the end of June. All Interns become certified in the following American Red Cross classes: CPR-AED for the Professional Rescuer, Epi-Pen Certification, and Basic First-Aid.

During the remainder of the summer, the Interns serve as assistants in our summer camps where they are in charge of a wide variety of tasks such as overseeing camper behavior, assisting campers with their projects, and preparing snacks for the campers.
