Specific Duties & Responsibilities of this position
-
1. Serve as an instructor of DNA programs for students in grades K-12, teachers, and the general public.
-
2. Provide assistance in writing scientific communications, marketing materials, and press releases concerning the DNA programs.
3. Compile, and keep up to date, the curriculum and experiments for school groups.
4. Coordinate and teach professional development workshops for teachers.
5. Interface with the Connecticut State Department of Education for CEU credits and all other education-related issues.
6. Responsible for implementing appropriate evaluation tools for the DNA programs and professional development workshops.
