School Groups
The DNA EpiCenter student programs are aligned with the National Science Education Standards for content and teaching. The materials are also correlated and aligned with content areas found in the Connecticut Core Science Curriculum Framework. The complete Connecticut Core Science Curriculum Framework is available for download here. Download the CT Science Curriculum Framework> (See also: American Association For the Advancement of Science, Atlas of Science Literacy, Project 2061.) Each of our lessons is an inquiry-based, hands-on bioscience experiment. Students will come to understand advanced techniques that scientists use daily in leading research institutions around the world. The DNA EpiCenter staff seeks to increase the scientific literacy of all students regardless of age and ability.
Cost: $350 for up to 24 students
Lab Time: 2.5 hours at the DNA EpiCenter
