School Groups: Curriculum
Following the previsit activities, students enter the laboratory where they apply the concepts acquired in the pre-visit activities to test a fictional blood sample for the presence of the mystery hemoglobin using gel electrophoresis. After the lab experience, students have the opportunity to further explore this topic through a variety of activities, such as internet and genealogic research, creative writing and
presentations, as well as mathematical applications.
